Litter A at 5 months

Time really flies. It’s been a while since I last created a blog for my litter A. And now my puppies are starting to grow up. I had a chance to take some pictures of them. They are almost five months already. Victor and Maya have been leash-trained already. All of the puppies are also groomed trained and they already know where to poo and pee.

Shih Tzu Puppy Available

I have one female shih tzu puppy available. Her name is Sasha, born last November 30, 2011 out of Kenzo and Nexxus.

Vaccines are complete and dewormed regularly. She is used to grooming already and trained to do her thing outside.

She is maintained with frontline and vitamin c. This puppy is perfectly healthy.

Introducing Kenzo

Kenzo is one of the first litter of my beloved Sphinx. I decided to keep him. As of now, I still haven’t decided yet whether to show him or not. But one thing for sure, he is a loved pet. He is still in full coat just in case we decided to show him again. Kenzo is a very sweet shih tzu. His eyes will melt your heart out but he is a barker.

Puppies Trying To Climb My Bed

My puppies are very sweet. They love being with me all the time. They always do things that will make me carry them. Even after playing, they all wanted to be with me in bed. There are times when I cannot resist them. In the end, I will let them play in my bed. One time, I took a video of them while trying to climb the side of my bed. Because I didn’t carry them up, they all tried to climb my bed through the side.

March 2012 Aramis Lim Cup Dog Show

Aramis Lim Cup All Breed Dog Show has been held last March 17 and 18 in PCCI Activity Center, Marikina. The invited judges were Mr. Frederick Dewsbury from Canada and Iris Glynn from Australia.

I only registered Triton and Victor in the show. I brought Maya with us just to let her get used to having different dogs around her. I also trained her to walk inside the ring during the judges’ break time. It seems Maya is doing pretty well around plenty of dogs. I just have to make sure they are nice dogs.

There was an incident during the show wherein a french bulldog keeps on snapping at other dogs. Much worse, this french bulldog bit my friend’s puppy. Take note, she is a three month old puppy. It’s a good thing that the puppy didn’t get traumatized with the biting. She still performed well inside the ring.

Triton also improved a little. He allowed the female judge to check his teeth without getting uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Victor had fun inside the ring. He was very energetic inside the ring that I wasn’t able to keep him in a stacking position for a long time (laughing out loud). But he did well as you can see in the video.

Triton in the Ring

I registered Triton for the Specialty Show last Feb 21. This was his first time to compete as a regular. Triton has not received any formal training yet as an adult and we already saw that he has the potential. With more training, he has a chance to be our next champion. He looks and moves just like his father. Although he needs more practice in dealing with other people (especially the judge).

As you can see in the video, he is not used to be touched by other people. So when the judge approached him, he got scared of the judge. But his gait was fine. I like his gait — just like his father’s.

Victor’s Second Shih Tzu Training

I was able to capture a video of Victor’s second training outside. I think we also need to improve his stamina. Also, since he is much more comfortable in a leash, we decided to train Maya more. As a result, Victor got a few minutes of training only on his second day.

Maya’s Second Shih Tzu Training

Maya had her first shih tzu training outside last week. However, unlike Victor, she didn’t do well on her leash training. I thought it will take a few training to make her comfortable walking on a leash. But to my surprise, Maya improved on her second day of training. She walks as if she is floating in the air. A few more leash training and she will be comfortable walking with a leash. I believe that if she will get comfortable walking in a leash, she will still improve and get better.

First Shih Tzu Training

Finally, my puppies had their first training outside last week. They were not able to go out before because they do not have complete vaccines yet. I was able to bring them outside before just to make them familiar with all the noise outside. But this was their first time to walk outside. We didn’t have a hard time training Victor on leash. This is Victor’s first time to walk outside on a leash.

Litter A at Eleven Weeks

Here are some of the pictures of Litter A taken when they were eleven weeks old. I tried to take some of their pictures in a stacking position even if they haven’t had any training yet.
